Nilo Pomaloy Shares Supply Chain Security Insights at SCSMSI Convention 2026

ShieldCoach Security Corporation President Nilo Pomaloy spoke at the Supply Chain Security Management Society Inc. (SCSMSI) Convention 2026 on 20 August at Vista Mall Sta. Rosa, Laguna. The event brought together more than 80 supply chain, security and industry professionals.

Pomaloy represented the Transported Asset Protection Association Asia Pacific (TAPA APAC) in his capacity as an Authorised Principal Audit Reviewer and Trainer. His presentation addressed cargo theft, insider threats and counterfeiting, and their effects on business operations.

He introduced the TAPA Intelligence System (TIS), which provides cargo crime intelligence to help organizations identify risks and strengthen asset protection. He emphasized the importance of explaining security risks in financial and operational terms so business leaders can make informed decisions about security investments.

Pomaloy also discussed TAPA security standards and the role of audits and certification in supply chain protection. His presentation reinforced the need to support technology with clearly defined standards and consistent security practices.
